The artist’s wife and his youngest daughter, Carol, take a leisurely stroll along an inviting birch-lined trail in Letchworth State Park, 55 miles SE of their New York home. Photo taken in the early 1950s. The varied landscapes and gorgeous vistas of Letchworth State Park’s 14,427-acres provided numerous opportunities for photographs, and the artist was a frequent visitor. He particularly loved birch trees which provide a perfect frame for this lovely photo.
